Excel freezes when formatting cells

- This may sound ridiculously simple, but try to change your default printer to PDF. I have suffered from the same problem and this helped instantly.
Hello! My MacBook Air does not give PDF as a Default Printer choice. How else can I fix the crashing of Excel when I simply try to format cells? It is allowing me to change the row height, but if I try to add borders or change the justification in a column, it crashes.
