Excel formula not working in some cells

The simple formula that I have written is not calculating properly in certain cells.  This has been happening in spreadsheets that I have been creating for about a week.   Here is a simple example of where cell D3 comes up with a faulty result.

    Baja2020 That's the correct result - 10/120000 = 0.0000833 = 8.33*10^-5.  It's just showing in scientific notation as it's very small.

By the way, your column header says these are percentages, but they aren't - try changing to percentage format from the Home Ribbon.

Thanks Savia. If I use the percentage format won't it just show up as )? Savia

Baja2020 I can't see why it would.  Percentage format just multiplies the apparent value of the cell by 100 and sticks a % on the end.
