I tried to put the link in but I'm not sure it worked. It includes a sample of the spreadsheet, and you need to scroll down to where the formulas are. You see them by the cells that contain zeroes.

- I just tried it on the link Test workbook and can't get to repeat the result...
- But it does on the copy I have saved on my comp
If you already have any formula in the cell and start typing new one from =, Excel takes the length of the existing formula and reserve the space to the right for the in-cell editing highlighting adjusted cells. Not sure if it's possible to change such behaviour.
