Excel file how to block some cells

Ho un MacBook Pro (2021). Sto usando Microsoft Office365.

This is a two-step process. By default, all cells are locked, but this only becomes effective when you protect the sheet.

    Step 1: Unlock cells.

    • Select the cells that the users should be able to edit.
    • Press Ctrl+1 to activate the Format Cells dialog.
    • Activate the Protection tab.
    • Clear the Locked check box.
    • Click OK.

    Step 2: Protect sheet.

    • Activate the Review tab of the ribbon.
    • Click Protect Sheet.
    • If you want to protect the sheet with a password, enter it. Do not forget it!
    • Click OK.
    • If you specified a password, you'll have to enter it again as confirmation.
