Excel file from computer to phones

So my computer started acting up and won't turn on anymore. I have a excel file in there that's important. I tried logging in through the phone excel app to get that file but it doesn't show up. Am I only able to see it on a computer or also on my phone because the file doesn't show up at all. What can I do to retrieve it back?
