Excel drag area
I am unabe to drag area and copy onto adjuscent area. I have to resort to Crt C and the Ctr V to copy paste each time.

Go to the "File" menu.
For older Excel versions, go to Tools > Options.
Select Options (found at the bottom of the menu).
In the Excel Options dialog, click on Advanced.
Under the Editing Options category, look for:
"Enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop".
Make sure the checkbox is ticked.
Click OK to save the changes.
If the feature still doesn't work, check the following:
Ensure the sheet or file isn't protected (Review > Unprotect Sheet).
Verify that you're not working in a read-only file.
Additional Information:
