Excel doesn't sort at all

Hello I have the Excel 2019 version.

I have issues with sorting of my data. The problem is my excel doesn't sort at all.

I tried even with simple stuff like writing 1-10 in cells and it won't even sort that. Not a warning, nothing, it seems like the sorting option is disabled. Filtering on the other hand works perfectly. What could be the problem, I have been looking on many sites for an answer but nothing is helping. My issue is just that my excel won't sort anything.

    With your permission, if I can recommend. It can help us all if you upload an Excel file (without sensitive data), no picture. Even if it is said that a picture can say a thousand words, it is certainly not in the case of Excel, on the contrary in some cases. You could get a precise solution much faster with a file (w/out sensitive data). This would also be a blessing for all of us, as we can understand the problem much better, a win-win situation for everyone.
