EXCEL Delete Tabs in a workbook.

I am unable to Delete Tabs in Workbook. When I right click the Delete selection is greyed out. When I used the Home button and Delete, it is also greyed out. What other options are there?

Activate the Review tab of the ribbon. In the Protect group, is the 'Protect Workbook' button highlighted? If so, that would explain the behavior that you describe.
