Excel Date
Today, January 9, 2019.
When I open a new workbook, go to cell A1, enter 1/9,
the cell shows 9-Jan
How do I change this?
I am NOT talking about the format cells path.
How do I declare how I want the date to be displayed by default?

Hi,
You have to format the cells first, then you can add the date using 1/9, 4/11 etc. and once you hit the Enter key it will give you 1/9/19, 4/11/19 etc. See attached picture.
