Excel data/Outlook calendar (linking object)

I've already been able to link my Excel spread sheet to my Outlook calendar, so that isn't an issue.  Within my spreadsheet I have embedded a link to a Word document (as a hyperlink).  When I import/export my Excel into Outlook calendar, the link does not copy over to Outlook Calendar.  How do I remedy this?
