Excel Convert to Range Not Working
I'm trying to disable table functionality in a spreadsheet. It's pretty extensive. So, I do not what to have to delete everything and start over. I've tried the Table Design>Tools>Convert to Range, b...
- I may have found a work around. I copied the table and pasted the formulas on a different worksheet and deleted the corrupted table. That seems to have fixed the issue.

When you convert a range to a table, the formatting is left behind. But the "table" is no longer a "table" (which you can prove by inserting a row in its middle and you'll see the alternate shading is now "off").
- Thanks, Jan. However, that is not what I'm seeing. Even after choosing Convert to Range the table is retaining it's table features, not just the formatting. I did as you suggested and inserted a new row and the alternate shading is visible. Additionally, the filter drop down arrows are still in the header row. I'm getting no error messages. I click "yes", the dialogue box goes away, but the table remains unchanged.
