Excel cell reference
Does anyone know in Excel, how can cell 1 reference cell 2 so that if cell 2 is cut and pasted to cell 3, cell 1 is still referencing cell 2 rather than cell 3? Note this is NOT looking for an absol...
If that's not absolute reference you may name cell 2 and reference by name.
Thanks that sounds like a good idea. However, when I cut and paste the referenced cell 2, the cell name goes with it, so the reference now points to cell 3, no longer cell 2 as desired.
