Excel Cell Issue (Mac)

Please help me fix what should be a simple issue.  When I open any Excel documents, and most of mine are very simple, I cannot just click on a cell and enter info.  When I click on a cell it highlights a cell (between rows) that is three rows below where I've just clicked.  I cannot work in any documents now.  

I just updated with the latest available update.  I'm not alone, several coworkers expressed the same frustration.  What can we do?  Is there another update to correct the issue?
