Excel Cell Formatting
I've downloaded data from EDI showing component volumes. All of the cells are formatted as text. None of the usual functions I know will change the format to number.
If I select a single cell and press backspace in the formula in from of the number the format does change to number.
I have 3,145 cells on my spread sheet and obviously don't want to do this individually.
Is there a way I can select all of the data and correct this?

Select your entire range with numbers in question, from drop down menu on the icon which will appear on top left of the selected range click Convert to Number
I love that SergeiBaklan ... I fix this issue by typing 1 in a cell >> Copy >> select destination >> Paste Special >> Multiply >> then delete the typed 1
