Excel borders are self erasing...

I noticed in one of my spreadsheets that I had some cell borders missing.  I clicked on the borders box and clicked on the add all borders.  This caused the adjacent borders to go away.  I did this several more times to make sure I was clicking on the right item, and it still erased instead of adding.  What has happened/

Thanks,

  • Hello,

You can try the steps below
    1. Select the range you wanna apply all borders
    2. Execute CTRL + 1
    3. Select Border
    4. Click on the Left, Right, Bottom, Top and Middle Border line
    5. Click OK

Well that didn't work.  What it appears to be happening is that when I click on all borders, instead of installing, it erases.  The more I try, the more it erases.  Something has been clicked to delete borders, and it was not intentional, but that is what I think has happened.  As far as clicking on the 4 borders in the border set up box, it never did highlight anything...

      Thanks for the help

      Dusty
