Oct 29, 2017Excel Autosave
I Have Office 365 installed in Windows 10 PC. The Excel Version is 1708 Build 8431.2107. I am not able to see the Auto Save icon on the top left corner. I have tried to open the file from One drive but still that Icon is missing. How do I get the Auto save option.
That is the bug

I would just keep AutoSave Off -- what a nightmare of a feature. Thankfully, I was able to get the previous version of my file back, but I would go with your company's source control software (e.g. Git, SVN, TFS, etc.) instead of AutoSave.

You may want to start with a simple workbook and copy one sheet after another into it to find out what exactly is preventing AutoSave.
