Excel Autosave

I Have Office 365 installed in Windows 10 PC. The Excel Version is 1708 Build 8431.2107. I am not able to see the Auto Save icon on the top left corner. I have tried to open the file from One drive b...

Hello,

 

AutoSave will only be available if the workbook meets a number of requirements. One is the save location, but there are many more things in a workbook that could be responsible for preventing AutoSave. Here's the Support Article:

 

 

You may want to start with a simple workbook and copy one sheet after another into it to find out what exactly is preventing AutoSave.

    Hi,

    In Excel "Autosave" icon itself not visible in left corner quick access toolbar. refer below snapshot, this file is in One drive.

      Some 3rd party add-ins may be preventing AutoSave.
