Excel Auto-filter error
I have a table that I have enabled auto-filter on. I also have table legend text - separated by a blank row - below the table. The table text has merged cells. I'm getting an error that sort cannot work with different sized merged cells. How do I separate the table from the legend so that auto-filter does not try to sort the legend text?

First, do you have Excel Table or you have the range filtered from Data->Filter?
Second, try to avoid merging cells at all, that's the source of many issues. Alternatively you may select your cells, Ctrl+1->Alignment->Horizontal->Center Across Selection
