Excel add ins

Hello,

I am trying to add load the analysis toolpak in excel but I can't figure out how to add that and I can't seem to search for anything new. I follow the steps my teacher assigned but it isn't helping.

I'm having the same issue and I cannot locate any "tools" menu.  I tried the drop down in the file tab and there is not a tools option.

"File tab" - do you have the desktop version of Excel for Windows? If so:

      • Select File > Options.
      • Select Add-ins in the navigation pane on the left hand side.
      • Make sure that Excel Add-ins is selected in the Manage drop-down.
      • Click Go...
      • Select the Analysis ToolPak check box.
      • Click OK.

For the desktop version of Excel for Mac, Load the Analysis ToolPak in Excel suggests:

        1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Excel Add-ins.

        2. In the Add-Ins available box, select the Analysis ToolPak check box, and then click OK.

          1. If Analysis ToolPak is not listed in the Add-Ins available box, click Browse to locate it.

          2. If you get a prompt that the Analysis ToolPak is not currently installed on your computer, click Yes to install it.

          3. Quit and restart Excel.

Now the Data Analysis command is available on the Data tab.
