Excel 365 question
I have a particular $ amount in a cell on row 16. I want to deduct from that lines 18 and lines 20, and put the result on line 22. So I put it in on line 22 "=" followed by clicking on row 16 - row 18 - row 20"..... and it gives me an answer of what I started with on row 16. That's wrong.
- =A16-A18-A20. Exactly, and that doesn't work. It gives the answer as A16.
- I got it. I had to put A16, a18, A20 as negative numbers. Then separately I did a Sum on A22.

=SUM(16:16)-SUM(18:18)-SUM(20:20)Else try
=A16-A18-A20
