Excel 365 or 2019

I am using Excel 2019 on a Mac  and I have notes and comments on an excel spreadsheet but with Office 365 or Office 2019 despite selecting print at end of sheet, the notes do not print or show on the print preview screen.

How can I get these notes to print at the end of the sheet as they always have done on previous releases.

I have had long conversations with Microsoft Support and despite using screen share that have not found any way of correcting this. It seems there is a bug in the current release.

    Hi JerryH604 ,

     

    Go to page setup and select the "Sheet" tab and set Comments to what you need, see attached image.

      Thanks for your reply, that is exactly what I have done and have been doing for about 30 years!

       

      The problem is that the current release of Office 365 and Office 2019 for Mac have this feature on the Page Setup, Sheet tab but it does not work. No comments are shown in the print preview and no comments are printed.
