excel 365 not updating stock prices, retreives only prior day close

I'm experiencing the same problem since yesterday evening.
Is anyone else experiencing the same?
Many thanks for your reactions.
philippedevos , I am experiencing the same on my desktop app. Message when refreshing data is to check I am logged in with an account that has a subscription. Of course I do have an active 365 subscription, and when I use the online version of excel it works like a charm. Looks like MS inadvertently patched or modified something that broke the desktop access.

rong007, is it possible to use an excel file on my computer with the online version of Excel, so that I can get access to those stock quotes?

Brown_Russell , I think the fact that you are logged into Excel with a subscription is already doing what you are asking about; the software normally understands how to communicate with MS servers to get the stock quotes. The web Excel is likely contacting the exact same stock services and succeeding, so the core service is working. The issue is most likely a proxy component that communicates between the endpoint Excel desktop calls and the stock service. It is failing to recognize authentication properly. It could of course be something else, like an issue with the authentication service, caching, an Excel update... really if MS is working on this it should be a modest effort for them to figure out the issue and resolve it, so I would just sit tight.

rong007, thanks for the response. Actually, I put my spreadsheet on OneDrive and it works to refresh the data sporadically. So, it looks like is even problems with the online version. Hopefully, it is, as you suggest, nothing major, and they will resolve it quickly. Thanks again.
