Excel 2019 hangs when trying to print any excel file
since last week, no excel files will print. Excel just hangs. mine is MS office 2019. totally frustrated. tried repairing office online several times, reinstalled the printer several times etc. word and outlook prints without a problem. Problem is just with excel 2019!!!

In addition to the suggested steps.
Take this:
- Update Office: Ensure that your Office 2019 is up to date with the latest updates. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs and improve performance.
- Start Excel in Safe Mode: Open Excel in Safe Mode to see if an add-in or extension is causing the issue. You can do this by holding the Ctrl key while clicking on the Excel icon, then selecting "Yes" when prompted.
- Repair Office: You've mentioned trying to repair Office online, but it might be worth trying an offline repair as well. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Microsoft Office 2019 > Change > Repair.
- Check Printer Settings: Ensure that your printer is set as the default printer and that it's properly installed. Sometimes, reinstalling the printer driver can help.
- Clear Excel Cache: Try clearing the Excel cache by deleting the XLSTART folder. This folder is usually located in `C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel`.
- Check for Corrupted Files: If the issue occurs with specific files, try opening a different file to see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, the file might be corrupted.
Sorry, but NONE of these suggestions work. The original poster mentioned this. I have tried all these suggestions to no avail.
