Excel 2016 Series fill not properly working
hi, in excel 2016 when i try autofill in series the two numbers i enter to create a pattern keeps repeating.

The series function was working on my pc till yesterday. But today I want to autofill hundreds of cells with same equation and different inputs, but when I drag the 1st cell with + mark, all I get is the same answer in every cell. Equation is different in each cell, but not answer. I need to manually click on the equation in each cell to get right answer. What can I do?

If you have added filters then this makes the fill handle cause an issue. So that remove any filters applied in the sheet (not clear filters, remove filtering option) and try to drag & down the cell. This will show the fill handle option again.

- Never mind, I found the solution. Go to File>Options>Formulas and set to Automatic.
I don't know how it changed in the first place though!- Yes this was my issue as well. Thank you so much!! It can get changed if you are opening downloaded excel files im guessing. I opened another spreadsheet and pasted it and everything worked.
