Excel 2016 Series fill not properly working

hi, in excel 2016 when i try autofill in series the two numbers i enter to create a pattern keeps repeating.

Hi Bashir,

After you drag down check/change autofill option expanding the icon at right bottom

Hi, I have a similar problem just in my case the selection of prefill options is not even there. It always used to work but suddenly a couple of days ago ist started showing the quick data analysis instead. See attached screenshots.

This is what happens when I drag the corner:

And these are then my options:

If you had any idea how to fix it it would be greatly appreciated..

Fill Series will work only up to 14 digits no or alphanumeric...

adaso16 fill series will only alphanumeric up to 14 digit nos only...as soon as you enter 15 digit text, #FILL SERIES will STOP working,,,

The solution for me was very easy. You just need to hold down the black square after the selection of the cell. The mouse pointer should be a black plus symbol. Dont push the cell down from the middle.
