Excel 2013 Power Query - issues importing spreadsheet
I’m noticing that when I import a spreadsheet it seems to stop at 20,000 rows. I’ve converted this file into a csv and it seems to import all or the rows. My question is why does it stop at 20k rows when I load a spreadsheet?

There is no formal limit on numbers of rows and 20K in general is not very big number. However, loading of CSV file and Excel one differs dramatically from performance and using of computer resources point of view. See, for example, Comparing The Performance Of CSV And Excel Data Sources In Power Query Perhaps if you wait some minutes on 20K you'll see the progress with Excel file.
- Hello,
Normally, when you import data that's formatted in Excel Tables into Power Query, all the data will be successfully imported without restriction.
Just to try and verify: copy all the data in that particular Excel workbook and paste in a new workbook. Format in Excel Table and import to the PQ. Kindly let me know if the issue persist or not.
