Excel - How to convert from colums spreadsheet to become a form to fill up?
Can I ask if there is anyone can share with me how to create a form format with drop down list for information to be captured and have auto running serial number and also storing information in a database? Will Excel be a good platform to be used? or Access?
I attached this example file and hope to seek help in this. I have been struggling this for past 1 month and am still unable to come up with a proper tracker. It's very stressful as my boss is upset with me for taking long.

First Set up the table as a Table. Select the Headers and your data (or at least one row if there is no Data) and press CTRL+T.
The other Tool in Excel to use has been relagated from the current versions. There used to be a command "Form" present in the menus. You will need to find that for a custom ribbon or add to the QAT. You could also add as a button on the sheet.
It looks like the Data Validation was setup for some fields, so good on that.
