Every other row is blank when downloading .csv files
When viewing .csv files with Notepad, everything looks great.
However, when I open these files, every other row is blank including the header row.
Is the problem on my end with various format selections, or the party sending me these files with, perhaps, and extra line feed tacked onto the end of each record?
Getting rid of every other blank line is manually time consuming and should not be there in the first place.
Thank you for any suggestions.
The problem must be at the source where the file is created, so it would be best if they can correct it.
Otherwise: after opening the csv file in Excel. select the entire range and sort it on an appropriate column. The blank lines will be sorted at the bottom. Then save as an Excel workbook.
