After installing the 32-bit version on Windows 11, I was able to use my activex control without issue. I am interested in knowing, however, why wouldn't a 64 bit build of the control (registered and signed) work in the 64-bit version of Office? Is there a limitation of COM objects to only work in 32-bit?
- JKPieterseDec 05, 2023Silver ContributorIf there really is a dedicated 64 bit version of the control, then it *should* work. But you must contact the owner of the control for that.
