Error stdole32.tlb fix and configuration error

Following the most recent Windows security update, all Office applications began reconfiguring upon opening the application. 
Word and PowerPoint were fixed using this posted solution https://t.co/GqvUsho8Oq. Excel continued to have problems with configuration and began giving the error code stdole32.tlb. 
I was advised by Office Support to repair office here https://t.co/A3JToPMP0H which did not resolve the issue.

This also has not helped.
