error message for input range trying to do regression analysis

While trying to input data to do a regression analysis, I keep getting an error message that says the input data contains nonnumeric data

Select your input data. Press F5 and click "Special". Select Constants and ONLY check the Text box. Any cell it now highlights Excel thinks it contains text.

What if the shortcut key F5 doesn't work? What can be the alternative?

  Renj09 Or click the Home tab, find the looking glass icon (Find & Select) click it and choose Goto Special

  Ctrl+G is the other shortcut for the Go To dialog.
