Error after deleting table from Power Pivot data model: MdxScript(Model) (6, 130)

I added a table to a Power Pivot data model and later deleted it after realizing it wasn't needed. There are no associated measures with the table. But I get the error below after deleting it, and afterwards whenever I attempt to change a slicer selection on a dashboard.  What is causing this and how to resolve it?  Somehow the problem doesn't occur if I delete the table relationships, but keep the table. 

The query did not run or the Data Model could not be accessed. Here's the error message we got: MdxScript(Model) (6, 130) Failed to resolve name 'Addressable'. It is not a valid table, variable, or function name.
