entering a letter into an excel cel
I was working on a project in Microsoft Excel and all of a sudden I couldn't enter any data.
The taskbar is no longer highlighted. The tabs are but not the content. When I try to enter a letter, I get a warning that says "reference isn't valid".
Can anyone help me?

We do not have a lot of information to go on here!
Do you know if there is any VBA Code running in the background while you are trying to enter data?
Can you add a new worksheet?
Have you tried saving the workbook with a different name and restarting from scratch?
Let us know what you have done so far and what were the results.
