Enabling Security Content (Macros have been blocked) crashes Excel program

Hi, 

So I did download a document that uses macros to import values and do calculations. I can open the document but when I try to enable all the content, Excel crashes. I am using the Version 2005 of excel given from my university, so I tried  to update Excel but it says "no other updates are available". 

Does anybody know how to solve this?
