Embedding an Excel file into another Excel file
I am trying to insert as an Excel file into an Excel spreadsheet. On the Insert ribbon, I click on Object>Create from File>Browse then navigate to the file I want to insert, select it, click Insert ...
Maybe try this:
Go to Insert Tab -> Object -> double click Package in the list of options -> then the "Create Package" dialog will appear where it will guide you through the attachment process.
Yes I can see that "Package" works the same as Insert > Object > Create From File [Display as Icon].
However, I would like to display a window into the real-time content of another Excel file via [Link to File] as is shown in this screen shot https://prnt.sc/dx4ThQI1aofu
But, all I get is an empty window. Any idea how I can get this to work? BTW, I'm using Excel 365.
