email addresses
In Excel, how do I get email addresses in a cell to read just as text - NOT as an email address?
One more option enter as they are. after that select all such cells, right click menu => Remove hyperlinks

If you're pasting it, you could try pasting only the values or after pasting, you could select to option to paste values only

Dee_Cummins , you are welcome
If you never want email addresses and URLs to be converted to clickable links:
- Select File > Options.
- Select Proofing.
- Click AutoCorrect Options...
- Activate the AutoFormat As You Type tab.
- Clear the check box 'Internet and network paths with hyperlinks'.
- Click OK until you're back in Excel.
If you want to leave the above feature enabled, but occasionally want to enter an email address as text. prefix the value with an apostrophe '. The apostrophe will be displayed in the formula bar but not in the cell.
