Editing data in a dependent dropdown list
I have created a dependent dropdown list and I now need to edit some data in the dependent list but it won't let me do so. Any tips?

More details and ideally a sample workbook (without any personal/confidential info) would be helpful.
That said, a dependent dropdown usually uses a helper column to pull the 'depedent' data list and that column is used in the data validation rule. Since that helper column is based on a formula, you won't be able to directly modify that column of data and you will have to modify the formula or the original data from which the list is being pulled.
