Duplicate Styles warning
akira_hirai Can you show a screen-shot of your styles dialog for the file in question?
If it is as you describe, click Help, Feedback, I don't like something and tell Microsoft what you think is wrong.
About my add-in not loading: you have to first unblock the file as described here: https://jkp-ads.com/articles/excel-add-ins-fail-to-load.asp
JKPieterse Here's the cell styles dialog, with the style names blocked out. As you can see, I only have eight custom styles. They all have very distinct and descriptive names.
I've opened the file on five computers other than my own and none of the other computers displayed the warning, so I'm sure it's a problem with my computer and not with my file. When I have time over the weekend, I plan to re-install Office 365 to see if that resolves the issue.

akira_hirai That definitely sounds like a false positive. If you dismiss that yellow bar using the close box on its right, and you click Review, Workbook performance, does it highlight the duplicate styles 'issue' as well?
- akira_hiraiSep 05, 2024Copper ContributorThe Workbook Performance tool identified a few empty cells with number formats and text properties, many of which I optimized the last time I used the tool, but it does not identify the duplicate styles issue. I'll report back after reinstalling Office in a few days. Thanks for your assistance thus far!
- akira_hiraiSep 10, 2024Copper ContributorWell, I've reinstalled Office 365 and the problem still persists on this specific computer. But I can't reproduce the issue on any other computer. I guess I'll chalk it up to the fact that this computer is over 6.5 years old.
