dsiplaying specific number on X-axis

I have a simple dataset with 2 X values and 2 Y values. I would like the X axis to display just the X values of my data set (e.g. -0.926 and 2.673). I can get the scatter plot to start at the lowest value but it then increases in a fixed increment and, although the line itself ends at the second X value, the number displayed is not 2.673. How do I get an X axis that just displays these 2 numbers? Thanks.
