Dropdown list - no suggestions when typing
Hello to everyone.
After trying for several days on my own, reaching out to Microsoft support, searching using Google, using ChatGPT, uninstalling and installing Microsoft Apps, testing on different computers using the exact same Excel Version I am making this post hoping someone might help me.
I have an excel document where I created a list and from that list using Data Validation I created a dropdown list.
The problem is:
Excel won't make suggestions in the cell where dropdown list is created. On PC1, PC2 and PC3 it works with absolutely no problem, on PC4 (laptop) and PC5 doesn't.
For the sake of the simplicity, let's only refer to PC1 and PC4.
All fo them have Windows 10 64bit with last updates and the same Excel Version 2306 (Build 16501.20228)
Both PC's have checked the option "Autocomplete for cell values". Autocompletion for cell values works. Not to be confused with my problem
No Account is registered with the Insider program. Everything is as coming by default when installing Office.
This is driving me nuts, it makes no sense to me.
Please help me.

I guess all your PCs are on Current channel. Based on comments Microsoft starts with roll-out of this functionality somewhere in June. Within the channel activation of new functionality is perfumed by waves, it takes time to cover 100% of users. Sometimes lot of time, depends on stats and feedback.
If on your PCs are the same Office builds that only means these builds have the same code. But that doesn't mean they shall have the same functionality if we speak about new one - it is activated by licensing server remotely. Again, wave by wave, not 100% at once.

- It seems that when i activated Beta Channel it started working.
This is very upsetting as no PC had beta channel active.
What is happening? - This functionality is just available in 356 version. Do you have this version in the PCs it doesn't work?
