Anthony, I just repaired both App items for Microsoft 365, and then ran the update from Excel again, like I always do, and then after taking about an hour, this time once again the update finally downloaded and installed as desired. So, maybe you didn't give it enough time after your repair process?
I left it for over two hours, but it never left the original update message like yours did. But saying that, I just tried the deployment tool again (Channel="CurrentPreview") and it now works. So, they must have fixed it.
- I will say that it's very weird that this has never happened to me in the 7+ years I've been a MS 365 subscriber, and then happens 2 out of the last 3 updates.
