download my file to a folder on my system

I am trying to use the free MS Office online and it's cumbersome.  I want to download my file back into it's original folder on my system and I can't see how to do that.  It always goes into the downloads folder.  Is there a way around that?  I'm used to working with desktop version. Help?

    That's what happens with downloads: they go into the download folder.

     

    Have you tried "Save As" when the file is open in Office online? [I'm not a user of that service, so this is just a guess on my part, but it's the kind of thing that works in other situations.]
