Download excel file with time
Hello there!
I have an excel file, with time columns but doesn't recognize as "time", there is any option that I can convert without having to write one by one?
For some reason, all five columns contain text values, even though they are formatted as date or time.
Do the following:
- Select column A.
- On the Data tab of the ribbon, click Text to Columns.
- Click Next > twice, so that you are on Step 3.
- Select Date, and select DMY from the dropdown.
- Click Finish.
- Select column C and do the same.
- Select an empty cell and copy it.
- Select columns B, D and E.
- Right-click anywhere in the selection.
- Select Paste Special... from the context menu.
- Select Add.
- Click OK.
- Set the number format to a time format.
Executing this took less time than writing it down...
