Here are the steps to create a dot matrix chart in Excel:

1. Select the range of values ( C4:D8) and then go to the Insert Tab >> Charts Group >> Insert Scatter (X, Y) or Bubble Chart Dropdown >> Scatter Option.
2. After that, a graph will appear.
3. Enter your data into the matrix beside your new, empty matrix, another dialogue box opens, prompting you to “Type your text here.”
4. Design your matrix.
5. Include additional details.
