In the search (magnifying glass, next to windows, bottom left) please write, select "System Control" and enter (or double click on it).

At the top right of the new window, the display: Large symbols must be set.

Select => Mouse => Pointer Options => The second point from the bottom.

If that's not it, please have a look at Control Panel => Ease of Access Center, there you can do things that don't really make life easier.

I would be happy to know if I could help.

NikolinoDEThank you for your reply Nikolino.........unfortunately the curser still disconnects for no apparent reason...it is not a hardware issue as I am now on my third new laptop....my current laptop is a ThinkPad E15

Well then, please provide precise information.
Excel version? 0365? ...on-line? Per? home? ect.
Operating system, Windows 10 Pro, Home, ect. ? Windows 7?
Does the coursr only disappear in Excel? ... only with certain worksheets?
When composing email? ... do you mean in Outlook?

It would be recommended to include the file (without sensitive data) in the event that the problem is there.

Did you check it through with Lenovo's Ease of Access Center?
        or driver reloaded.

Thank you for your understanding and patience
