Default number of bins in histogram
Hi. I have a question: Which rule is used to compute the number of bins by default in a histogram? k=sqrt(n)? Where can I find the documentation? Thank you for help. Best, Gilles
I never seen any documentation about this topic and don't think it ever been published. =SQRT(N) doesn't work, usually it's plus-minus one bin from it, if not more.
