Default movement for cursor.

I have not been able to determine how to change the cursor movement default in Excel.  As installed, the cursor moves down one cell with an "enter".  How do I change the global default to have the cursor remain in the current cell after a value has been entered?

There is a menu item for this problem in the Excel settings:

    Translated from German:
    File

    Option
Advanced or Extended (im not sure)
[CheckBox] After pressing Enter, move selection
    [DropDown] Down, Right, Up, Left
If the CheckBox is deactivated, the cursor remains on the current cell.

Inserted a picture with the settings display, is in German, but a picture says a thousand words 🙂 ... don't forget to deactivate the check box.

File/Options/Advanced - uncheck After pressing Enter, move selection.
