default format insert cell
When you insert a cell (moving the row below it down) it automatically copies the formatting from above.
You get a promt / dropdown menu (insert options) where you can choose either formatting from below or clear formatting.
Is there a way to set the default to clear formatting?
For reference, I'm talking about Formatting options in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/insert-or-delete-rows-and-columns-6f40e6e4-85af-45e0-b39d-65dd504a3246

Excel doesn't allow set the default to clear formatting. You have to clear the Formatting by clicking on the Insert options icon and choose Clear Formatting. Or you can use Clear Format located in the Clear button in the Editing group of the Home tab

What a pain when I need to make multiple insertions all at once at places (or rows/columns) I have selected. NO insert options icon appears for clearing the formatting, and I can't use the Clear button because the inserted cells are NOT the cells that remain selected after performing the multi-insertion.
