Date Formatting Issue Excel
Hello, For some reason half the dates in the columns 'Date' and 'Start Date' are in a different format. I can format half of them as dates and hence group by month/year but the rest seem to be ig...

The values that resist formatting are text values, not real dates, even though they look like dates.
You can do the following:
- Select column A.
- On the Data tab of the ribbon, click Text to Columns.
- Select Delimited, then click Next > twice.
- In step 3 of the wizard, select Date, then select MDY from the dropdown next to it.
- Click OK.
- Repeat these steps for column D.
