Date formatting and autosave

Hi all.  I am trying to create a form that will have VBA Macro to save the file based on a cell content.

Now to make that cell content it is pulling data from other cells:

=B2&" "&G2&" "&K2

But i am getting this:

Shift:DSShift Supervisor :GrantDate: 20/08/2025
 DS Grant 45889

The date cell is using =Today().

Is there a way to get the Combined cell to copy the actual date - i acknowledge the forma of the =today() cell it will likely need to be changed as you can not save the file with "/" in it.

Thanks in advance.,

  • You can use the TEXT function to format the date:

    =B2&" "&G2&" "&TEXT(K2, "yyyymmdd")

    or

    =B2&" "&G2&" "&TEXT(K2, "dd-mm-yyyy")
